Poncho the weather cat!
One of my favorite projects was working as the main designer and illustrator at Poncho. Poncho was a Webby Award-winning weather app and chat bot. The app was featured on Apple’s Planet of the Apps and in the App Store. Working with a super talented team, I designed tons of iOS stickers, social banners, style guides, brand bibles, microsite, app and chatbot graphics, swag, and more.
Poncho had some of the very first iOS sticker packs.
Poncho’s sticker packs were an essential way to invite him to our users’ daily conversations. They gave our team the opportunity to illustrate the many character traits of Poncho, by letting his personality shine through in expressive gifs. I drew all of the stickers!
I made many branded, clean, and easily digestible presentations for Poncho.
Poncho won a Webby!
LOL at this v embarrassing video! Very fortunate to have been given the opportunity to wear this terrifying but fabulous Poncho mask. Ok move along move along.
Poncho was acquired by Dirty Lemon.
